Treat your loved one to a special stay at this luxurious Norfolk barn. Exquisitely designed for a couple, perhaps with a canine companion in tow, the one-bedroom retreat nestles on the edge of the village of Dunston in the valley of the River Tas. It is surrounded by scenic countryside and is 5 miles from the city of Norwich, with its many historic sights and attractions. With its own private terrace and garden, the immaculate holiday home also has shared access to a tennis court
Enter the gorgeous barn to find yourselves in a bright, airy lounge/kitchen/diner, which offers comfortable, stylish open-plan living. Cuddle up on the sofa in here after your long walks and day trips into Norwich to chat, read your books or watch the Smart TV. Prepare candle-lit dinners for two in the kitchen area on the evenings you choose not to dine out and sit down to your meal with the doors to the garden open on warm evenings. There is also a separate WC in this part of the barn. When you are ready to turn in for the night, head through to the inviting king-size bedroom, which benefits from an en-suite shower room, to enjoy an outstanding night’s sleep. Dine out on the covered terrace on summer nights, listening out for owls as the light fades.
Lace up your boots and head off on walks or decide to play golf on the course at Dunston Hall, less than 1 mile away. Venture into Norwich to go to the cinema or theatre, hire canoes on the river or spend a few hours shopping. Discover a wonderful array of restaurants or choose a sizzling dish of street food from the market. Visit Norwich Castle and wander round the 900-year-old cathedral while you are in the city.

Lovely setting in a rural peaceful location but only 10 minutes from Norwich. The barn is a real gem. Superbly furnished and equipped. A great base for exploring North and South Norfolk and even into Suffolk. We have no hesitation in recommending this lovely accommodation and we will be revisiting at some time in the future.

Arrived here 2nd Sept til the 6th Sept 2024. Beautiful accomodation very clean, kitchen very well equipped and bed very comfortable. Welcome pack a lovely thought as well. Property very close to the Norfolk broads and Norwich. Cromer, Holt and Sheringham 45 mins away. Two restaurants near by 2 mins by car 15 min walk otherwise, but the road to walk to the pubs in the dark is unsafe as no lights so wouldnt recommend walking when its dark. Outside patio lovely at Hazel Barn and large field for dogs etc. Tesco store 5 mins drive away. Lovely village called Lodden 7 miles away worth a visit and Wroxham certainly worth a vist. We will definitely stay again
