There are plenty of cycling routes too, a picnic park and a great golf course, as well as some excellent pubs and eateries nearby. The local team room will be happy to arrange breakfast or dinner for you and will deliver to your cottage. A little further afield you can visit the beautiful sandy beaches on the coast, Tynemouth is only 16 miles and that’s to name but one. A day out in Newcastle for shopping and restaurants is a must, as is Durham for its history, amazing cathedral and relaxing river walks. The country villages and seaside harbours of Northumberland are an easy drive too so you will have plenty to do and see staying here.

Head into the light and airy, open plan lounge kitchen and dining area with a comfortable sofa and large pouffe to settle into for an evening catching up on a favourite film on the Smart TV. The kitchen has an electric 2-ring hob, a fridge, microwave toaster and kettle and a couple of breakfast bar stools. There is also a dining table for two where you can sit and enjoy your meals together.
