Its location is also central within Northumberland, thereby giving easy access to all the attractions including Bamburgh, The Farne Islands, Holy Island, the medieval and picturesque village of Warkworth and Alnwick, with the world famous Alnwick Garden and Alnwick Castle which was the setting for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts School and Braveheart. Lavender House is also a perfect base for a walking or cycling holiday, with many great routes in the area, coastal and countryside.

Lavender House is lovely, spacious, bright, clean and in a great location. Having three bathrooms was a real bonus! The welcome basket was lovely and the dog treats were a nice touch. I think Coquet Cottages are always lovely. Other cottage sites in the country always feel more risky in quality and cleanliness.

Lavender House is stunning! The house is very well appointed in which we have stayed at three times and is beautifully furnished throughout. The parking is also ideal.
