The apartment was spacious, well-appointed and equipped. It had everything we needed. There is WiFi but almost nonexistent phone signal. Great place to explore Northumberland from.

This apartment is in a fabulous location, but it's not welcoming or attractive. My stay was marred by problems of poor maintenance and presentation, almost all of which had already been recorded in the visitors book, in some cases several times. Since there is almost no connectivity (and if you do succeed in ringing the rental office - I stopped on the A1 twice after my departure to try to get through to tell them about various problems - there doesn't appear to be anyone answering the phone). Since this is such a wonderful destination, all this is a real shame, and a lost opportunity. My mark of an attractive rental is that I want to go back, and I usually do. I won't go back here.

The property is located in a beautiful position. This property was properly poorly maintained and the standard of cleanliness needs to be greatly improved ie clean windows and surrounds . Bathrooms treated for mould and mildew ,the toilets property sanitised. Entering the property was difficult at all time due to faulty or not working locks. Advertised with 4tvs and only one small one working. All of the above are a great pity as if this was properly presented it could be a very comfortable place to stay in a beautiful setting
