You can forget the car for a couple of days as there is so much to explore in the village of Warkworth from Magdalene House, from the well preserved and iconic Warkworth Castle and pretty 14th century Norman Church, Hermitage carved from rock and only accessible by boat and the huge sandy beach to the great range of restaurants, pubs and little independent shops, you’ll be spoilt for choice!

What a wonderful time we have all had in Northumberland and Magdalene House. A beautiful house with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and amazing. We had some great nights in The Hermitage (Thursday is quiz night) and The Masons Arms. Beautiful walks with stunning scenery at Bamburgh, Craster, Warkworth, Alnmouth, Beadnell and many more. Love this place.
