All the delights of the city are nearby, plus there is a large Morrisons supermarket about 7 minutes walk away. Whilst the house is adequately equipped it is below the standard of other Sykes properties Iâve used. The sofa and seating in the lounge is very uncomfortable, the diningt table is too low for the chairs provided, bedroom mattresses are all lumpy and pillows are of a poor quality. There is also no mirror in the bathroom, which means shaving in the downstairs loo. None of these things in themselves are deal breakers, but you add them together and they take a toll on the overall quality of the stay. On the plus side the ownerâs agent was attentive and the house was clean.
