About this property

A stunning barn conversion with three bedrooms and spacious living accommodation. The ground floor bedroom and shower room are suitable for the less mobile, whilst the two first floor twins with family bathroom offer flexible accommodation. The airy open plan living space has a roaring woodburning stove, which is ideal to curl up in front of, or why not sit beside sunny south-facing bay window with a book and soak up the country atmosphere? Note: This property is connected to Ref. 919127, together they sleep 10.

Alston is set in the North Pennines in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounded by a unique landscape of moorland, hills, rivers and waterfalls, and is England's highest market town. There's a host of unusual shops in the town including quality crafts and galleries. Take a ride on one of the lovingly-restored steam and diesel engines through the beautiful scenery of the South Tyne valley on the South Tynedale Railway.

The rooms are warm and cosy. The owners left a lovely hamper of goodies including homemade bread, Jam and Christmas cake which was a lovely surprise. We would definitely recommend this property for a break away.
