Pop your bikes in the secure garage storage and kick off your muddy boots as you settle in for a relaxing evening, making full use of the homely sitting room, a sociable space where you and your loved ones can curl up for a film night in front of the roaring woodburning stove. A few steps take you up to the spacious kitchen/diner, host a dinner party on the quirky dining table featuring a pew next to the wall, whilst the designated chef rustles up a tasty meal using the contemporary appliances provided. Other locations nearby worth a visit include Boroughgate with its castle and medieval church, Ullswater and the Lake District, whilst the Settle-Carlisle Railway crosses the Ribblehead viaduct further afield.

    The house and facilities were all great as well as t location. It was a pity that the outdoor seating/picnic table especially seems to be on its last legs so we weren’t able to sit outside as a family.
