Moorcock Inn is within easy walking distance and serves some wonderful homecooked meals. Nearby, along the famous Settle-Carlisle railway line, you will find Garsdale Railway Station.

This is a beautifully refurbished and spacious old cottage using top quality finishings and furniture, with very thoughtful provisions and equipment. We had a very comfortable stay, with good communication from Sally and Tony. The train station is just up the road and gives good access to Ribble Head viaduct, Horton in Ribblesdale, Settle and beyond, and North to Appleby etc. There is a Little White Bus service from the station we used to get to Hawes, - a lovely little town with interesting shops, cafes and pubs. Being right in the Dales the walking and views from this cottage are stunning; and then back to a cosy fire. We will certainly be back!

Wow, such a beautiful cottage in such an idyllic location. Equipped and decorated to such a high standard that made us feel at home away from home. The red squirrels delighted us every morning with their presence and cheeky antics. Great location to explore the dales with ease. Thank you for the most warm welcome.
