Conveniently located on the A684, Garsdale is a small hamlet, resting at the foot of a dale alongside the meandering River Clough between Sedbergh and Hawes. Perfectly situated for days out in the Yorkshire Dales or the Lake District National Parks. The nearest market towns are Sedbergh, 7 miles to the west, and Hawes, 9 miles to the east and are well situated for shops and traditional pubs. With wonderful walks through the dale from the doorstep, this is an idyllic and peaceful setting for your holiday. A few steps lead up from the garden into the open plan living area of this historic cottage. You come firstly to the lounge which you will not want to leave with the two sofas next to the wood burner and TV, perfect for any point of the day to relax in. Tucked away in the corner is the dining area with its oak table and chairs. The open plan kitchen means no one is left out when it comes to mealtimes and everything you need for cooking up a treat is here, with a gas oven and hob, microwave, freezer, and fridge. Down the winding wooden stairs to the lower floor, you ll find the main bedroom with a king size bed. Followed by the family room with a double and a single bed, which is adjacent to the shower room with shower and WC. The utility room offers space to hang those walking coats and store muddy boots, along with a washing machine. Double doors open out to the lawned garden area which boasts lovely views over the local fells. Spend an evening under the stars or watch the local wildlife, red squirrels and many types of birds. There is parking for two cars.
