Spacious property full of owners artwork and curios. Very big spacious beds. Generally equipment was good quality and I think the cottage was excellent when it was originally renovated. However there were a few very disappointing things: 1. The main oven door was wedged closed with a piece of wood - probably a fire hazard if the oven was used. When the piece of wood was removed the oven door fell open. The secondary oven worked but was very greasy. Both ovens need to be cleaned. 2. We could not work the shower - the water control seemed to be seized and we did not want to force it. 3. There were cobwebs on the side of the lower staircase and in the upstairs skylights; and in several other places. 4. General maintenance issues such as constantly dripping tap, blinds missing some controls, no aerial on ground floor TV, one light not working in 2nd floor bathroom We did not speak to Tri about these issues as we felt that she was doing her best and we did not want to cause her any upset.

Beautiful cottage in a great location, perfect country village retreat.

  • Mrs Roberson

A tastefully decorated house with many artistic features in a great location with friendly and helpful hosts. The layout was lovely and allowed us to either be together as a family or space out when needed. Really comfy beds! There are two lovely parks nearby, pubs, Indian restaurant/takeaway and a pizza van and a shop all within a short walking distance. Many local places of interest and the coast can be reached in less than an hour. A brilliant place to stay!
