Nearby Tenterden has a huge choice of shops and places to eat and drink as well as some wonderful attractions including the Kent and East Sussex Railway, Ellen Terry's Museum and home at Smallhythe and Chapel Down Vineyard. Meanwhile Ashford is the gateway to London and Europe being on the M20, which leads to the Eurotunnel and Channel ports, and home to the International Station with high speed trains to London and Paris and Brussels.
