Keen walkers and cyclists can explore the many trails on offer that run along the Pilgrims Way, taking in Godmersham Park and the wider countryside. Families can enjoy a trip to nearby Howletts Wild Animal Park (10 miles) and for those who like to explore the local heritage, Godinton House and Gardens, Leeds Castle and Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens are all in 20 miles for great days out. Hop in the car to Canterbury (7 miles) where you can explore Canterbury Cathedral, or visit the Kent coast at Whitstable and Tankerton (12 miles) famous for their locally caught oysters and gently shelving beaches.
Enter this reverse-level house on the ground floor where you will find two bedrooms: a twin zip-and-link (which can be made into a super-king on request), and a king-size bed with patio doors out into the pretty garden – perfect for enjoying a morning cup of tea in the fresh air. The family bathroom is also located on the ground floor, as is the utility cupboard. The washing machine is in the integral garage. Head up the curved staircase to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which is a light and airy space and a lovely area for relaxing after a busy day. A comfortable corner sofa is the ideal place to curl up with a good book or catch up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. Why not gather the family together at the dining table with seating for an evening of after-dinner board games? Mr Lee
A very well furnished and spotlessly clean accommodation in a lovely village location. It was great to have a welcome package of local produce, milk bread juice and biscuits, tea and coffee etc. We were particularly impressed with Kim and Hilary's help and friendliness to a degree we have never encountered before. Kim was so eager to share his knowledge of Kent and the interesting places to visit. We would definitely book this accommodation again.

This house is set in the beautiful, peaceful and picturesque Kent village of Chilham. There's a pub and a wine bar, plus a village shop. It has lots of beautiful walks right from the door. The house is well equipped, spotless and the owners were extremely friendly and very helpful, offering advice on where to walk, and places to visit. They provided a lovely welcome pack too and checked that we had everything we needed, they couldn't have been more helpful. There's a charming garden that has good seating and a bbq, overlooking a pretty lawn and flower beds. Truly idyllic setting. The house was extremely clean and well equipped. The bedroom has sliding doors out to the garden which was a lovely feature. We would definitely return.
