Pokesdown is a small village located east of Boscombe and west of Southbourne that is bustling with bars and eateries catering to all tastes and budgets, including a seafood restaurant, fish and chips, a tapas bar, a bakery, a microbrewery, cafes, takeaways, pubs, and sports bars, as well as plenty of shops to explore and pick up any essentials you may require during your stay. A train station, two beautiful golf courses, a skate park, and the Vitality Stadium, home of AFC Bournemouth, are all close. Within a short drive, you may visit Boscombe Beach, which has a restored Victorian pier, or travel further along the coast to Bournemouth Beach and Pier, which has an amusement arcade and boat cruises along the coast.
