Year-round surfing is possible thanks to the rolling waves, and you can explore and take in the breath-taking landscape by walking along the rebuilt canal or the North Cornwall coastal route. A fantastic indoor pool, bowling alley, indoor play area, and heritage centre at Bude Castle are all located in Bude. Additionally, it includes a great information centre and a good assortment of neighbourhood stores, supermarkets, cafes, bars, and restaurants. The ruins of a huge iron age hill fort at Warbstow Bury are only a short drive away and offer panoramic views. Enjoy the coast road north to see the lone lighthouse perched above the water at Hartland Point, or take a donkey ride or a stroll down the picturesque Clovelly's steep, cobblestone village street (no cars permitted) to the port and tavern far below.
