“The location was ideal for visiting family who lives in the village and also to explore Cornwall. There is a local shop very nearby as well as a cracking bakery. The beach at Holywell Bay is a reasonable walk from Cubert, but excellent bus routes...”

Candles cottage was the perfect base for our family holiday is Cornwall. The property was immaculate with plenty of storage and clean towels and bedding. The kitchen had everything we needed and the scones were a lovely welcome when we arrived. The new smart TV in the lounge is great and allowed us to access all the streaming channels we have at home. The garden was lovely and, had the weather been better, would have been perfect for a bbq. There are plenty of footpaths for walks nearby and Cubert is a lovely village with a wonderful bakery, convenient grocery store and a fantastic chippy. We had an amazing week and enjoyed visiting local attractions in Cornwall including St Ives, a show at the Minack theatre and a really fun boat trip from Newquay harbour with odyssey adventures. Highly recommended .
