Enjoy the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on foot or bike, or soak up the sun and take in beautiful views along the coastline before resting up in this wonderful, welcoming retreat.
Place your walking boots and flip-flops in the boot room as you enter the property and head into the open-plan lounge/diner. Enjoy eating meals at the dining table before cosying up on the sofas and watching movies on the Smart TV. The owners have also provided a Nintendo Wii for guests to play. Cook up tasty meals in the practical kitchen, and a handy study is provided as well, should you need to catch up on some work. A king-size bedroom with lovely garden views and a shower room are also situated on the ground floor. Upstairs are the two further bedrooms, a king-size with further views, a twin bedroom, and a contemporary family bathroom. Heading through the patio doors from the lounge/diner, you will find a spacious, enclosed garden which has a patio area with seating, great for dining alfresco, and a lawn lined with shrubs and trees.
Set on the river with the same name, the town of Fowey has a range of shops and eateries and a pretty harbour with lovely waterside views. You can take to the water here too, and enjoy stand-up paddleboarding, sailing, and kayaking. The beach at Readymoney Cove is 1 mile away and is a lovely sheltered and sandy shoreline, a perfect spot for a picnic.

Anchor Watch is an exceptional holiday property. It really does tick all the boxes, being detached, large enclosed garden, comfortable furnishings, great view, good parking and an easy distance to walk to the town. The walk down and up is steep so may not be suitable for all but it was perfect for us. This is also the cleanest property we have ever stayed in, which is fantastic for a dog friendly place. If we returned to Fowey, we would stay here again.

Beautiful property with stunning views of the harbour area in Fowey. A lovely, short picturesque walk down quaint lanes to get to Fowey Town centre. (Just be aware the property is on a hill so it's an easy walk down into town, but quite a steep walk back up to the property, although fine for able bodied people, and the views from the property are definitely worth it)! The garden is lovely, and secure so great for the dog to run round in. The downstairs bedroom and next door shower room are perfect for an extra guest, in our case we were a family of 4 upstairs and my dad joined us and had the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Overall, it was a stunning property and Fowey itself is a gorgeous, quiant, vibrant little town. Would definitely recommend Anchor Watch, you won't be disappointed with the property, or the location!! We spent the whole week smiling, and didn't want to come home!!

The property was perfect for our family holiday. Lovely sea views from the lounge & one of the 3 bedrooms. Lovely enclosed garden and whilst we didn’t bring our dog due to her not being good in the car on a long journey, it would have been lovely as there was plenty of space to play. Spotlessly clean & furnished to a good standard.
