The property is excellent for sea views and if you like walking. It is very well equipped and was very clean. The only drawback is it is probably the most remote place I have ever stayed. All roads out are single track and require you to circumvent the headland. There is a ferry to Fowey but at £5.60 return it gets very expensive for a family of 5. But if you are the outdoors type the walks along the cliffside to Lantic Bay are beautiful.

I felt the property just missed being that something special. House felt cold and soulless. Little simple comforts missing that we have always had with other Cornish homes. Throws on the setee for cold evenings, rug by the fire with a basket of wood ready. Chair in the bedroom to put your clothes on instead of the floor. No mirror near a plug to dry your hair in the main bedroom. Impossible small shower with no escape from the water. No scones waiting after a long journey! Too much emphasis on supplying every utensil known, missing the touches that bring you back.
