The Old Farmhouse is a splendid cottage deep in the Cornish countryside. We were a party of five with three dogs. There is plenty of dog walking on site and beaches and the coastal path are in easy reach. The amenities of the cottage are first class. The owners are on site and very friendly and helpful.

We were happy with out stay at The Old Farmhouse. We appreciated the eggs, bread and milk in the fridge as it meant we had something for breakfast after the long drive from London on Friday. The place is very dog friendly. We needed an enclosed garden and plenty of space as we have a German Shepherd. The garden is safe and dogs would not be able to escape so can be left unsupervised. We used the gas powered barbeque and that worked out well (needed to use a match from the fireplace for the first 2 elements). There is a stair gate which although a bit of a faff does stop dogs going upstairs (we have a no dogs upstairs policy at home too). The kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of quality cutlery. We had an issue with the hot tub settings and a problem with the washing machine and Vicky (owner) came over within 5 mins and helped resolved the issues. The beds are good and not too soft or saggy as you sometimes get in holiday lets. There is a really nice woodland walk on the property which is very well maintained and nice little fairy statues along the route. There are 2 enclosed dog areas. The one at the top of the hill is best as you get a great view and there is nice comfy hut at the top.
