The Tamar Bridge, a Brunel engineering marvel that connects Devon and Cornwall across the Tamar River, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, dominates Saltash. We stayed for two weeks and didnt need to ask one question because it had all been thought through really well. My whole family loved the house and we would highly recommend it. Saltash is also a lovely town :) Thank you very much !

However in our opinion it is not fitted out to be suitable for holiday rental. There is no TV, no Wifi, no washing machine, no tumble dryer, no hanging space and no drawer space in 2 of the bedrooms and no teapot. The sitting area was very restrictive and had one uncomfortable sofa bed (ostensibly for 3 people) and a modern but very low rocking chair which was very difficult to get in and out of. We were lucky and our holiday weather was excellent.

Great location, host was very helpful. Unfortunately we expected more of a family which it was not, no TV, washing machine, WiFi or hoover which definitely affected our stay. In the evening the kids couldn't watch there ipads and after so many trips to the beach we couldn't wash our clothes. As a family we are very tidy we like to clean and hoover our house every evening which is quite hard getting on your hands and knees with a dust pan and brush. The location is amazing and the property is really clean and nice. Just didn't feel very comfortable without the basics of a family home. If those things were addressed we would definitely stay there again.
