Ascend the stairs to the open-plan living space and take advantage of a well-equipped kitchen where you and your loved ones can prepare and enjoy mealtimes altogether; settle down at the dining table ready to tuck in, cracking open a bottle of fizz to accompany a memorable evening. If you prefer to dine alfresco, a private garden to the rear of the property, or the communal picnic area outside hosts the perfect space to soak in your beautiful surroundings; retreat inside to an inviting sitting area to warm up in front of the roaring woodburning stove and click on the Smart TV. If you begin to feel sleepy, rest your head in one of the three lovely bedrooms, ready to kickstart your itinerary. The Old Barn is an idyllic Devon retreat, perfect for making memories with loved ones. Colyton, a small village in East Devon, has been inhabited since 700 AD. Colyton, which is three miles from Seaton and six miles from Axmouth, contains a lot of historical structures, like St. Andrew's Church, as well as meandering alleyways filled with independent businesses. The numerous inns provide delicious food and a friendly atmosphere. From the tram stop in Colyton, you may take a relaxing ride to Seaton along the River Axe. The charming towns of Colyford, Southleigh, Northleigh, and Farway are tucked away in the Coly Valley and make for pleasant day trips.

    Our stay was brief but enjoyable. The only thing which let us down was the storm, which was so bad we left a day early to get home !
