Whimbrels has undergone major improvments. This stunning property with outdoor pool has fabulous views overlooking Watermouth Castle. A great base to explore the miles of stunning coastal and countryside scenery and the shops and restaurants of Ilfracombe and Combe Martin are only a few minutes drive away.

    This place is amazing. The views, the location and the facilities. It’s so close to everything you’d need yet just far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. Can’t wait to go back.

    What a fantastic house! Just perfect for large groups. Plenty of things to do & lots of space for everyone. Close proximity to local areas, walks & local pub too. Would definitely recommend The Whimbrells to friends & family.

    Great house with so much space, indoor and outdoor! And the pool was the icing on the cake. Agree with all the previous positive comments so won't repeat but we liked little things that yes, there was enough pots and pans to cook a full blown Xmas dinner (yes, we know it was September!) enough glasses etc . Also enough parking (if you are staying in the lower ground floor bedrooms park on the lower drive as access is easier to off load plus utility/spare fridge ie bar! on the same floor) Watermouth Cove is under 10 minutes walk down the hill with a lovely cafe and the Black and White fish n chip shop in Coombe Martin gets a thumbs up - we ordered in advanced for us all. Really missing going to sleep with no barn/tawny owls to listen to - a beautiful property with stunning views.
