Guests say

Honeysuckle Cottage in Devon is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its location, sea views, and tranquil setting. The property is described as comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped, offering a home-from-home experience. While some guests mentioned issues with cleanliness and maintenance, these appear to be isolated incidents, with many guests looking forward to returning.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Cleanliness received mixed reviews. While some guests found the cottage to be clean and well-maintained, others noted issues with dust, cobwebs, and dog hairs. The presence of both positive and negative comments suggests that cleanliness is generally satisfactory, but there is room for improvement.

The location of Honeysuckle Cottage is highly praised for its quietness, beautiful views, and proximity to beaches and nature. The serene setting and availability of nearby walks contribute to a positive experience, although the narrow local roads were noted by some.

Comfort is generally well-regarded, with guests appreciating the spaciousness and homely feel of the cottage. However, there were comments about uncomfortable sofas and creaky beds, suggesting that while the overall comfort is good, some furnishings may need updating.

Facilities are deemed adequate, with the cottage being well-equipped for most needs. Guests appreciated the kitchen amenities and the presence of a steamer. However, there were reports of broken fixtures and a lack of certain items, indicating that some facilities require attention.

There is insufficient information to accurately score thoughtfulness. While there are mentions of welcome gifts such as cakes and tea, it is not a consistent theme throughout the reviews, and as such, it cannot be guaranteed that such gestures are a standard practice.

The cottage is really nice and clean. Yes its very quite and peaceful. The beach is only 2 miles away. We could of stayed there for ever, if we could.

No problems with the property. Unfortunately a bit isolated down very narrow lanes with nothing in the village. Fine if you are just a walker, hiker or want only a beach holiday in the short trip to B-on-Sea, even that is slightly restricted as no beach at high tide, but otherwise it is a car journey to anywhere of interest, to shop or find a pub/restaurant. Should have done more research of the exact location before booking

Our dog loved the woody grass area available for her, ideal for a ball game. In early May, Bigbury Court was very quiet. We loved the beach and the sea tractor, 2 miles away but you do need to be aware of tide times. Information provided in the cottage.
