On a 75 acre working Devon farm, 2½ miles from Holsworthy, is Yellowland Farm, a handsome farmhouse. With exclusive use of this big rambling house (except the ground floor to the left of the porch), it is a popular and friendly place for family gatherings and groups of friends. From the moment you step through your front door, you will feel at home in the big spacious rooms. From the long hall, head into the sitting room, a lovely place to relax beside the wood burning stove and watch TV. French windows looking over the garden. Leisurely meals around the long sociable table in the dining room, enjoying food prepared in the smart, well-equipped kitchen, will be a highlight of the day. And, when you're ready for bed, head upstairs to the four comfy bedrooms, two with handy en suites. Children (and the young at heart) will love the outdoor freedom here, with a pretty, safely enclosed garden around the house and the farm to explore beyond, where you can feed the hens and pet animals and play in the adventure playground, or in the games barn if the weather isn't kind.Snooker Room with full size table,Toy room,Games room and the star is the indoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi in the barn near the house for a dip whenever you choose. For more activity, pony riding is available nearby, the Tamar Lakes are excellent for water sports and the fabulous surf beaches at Bude and Sandymouth are within easy reach. With the town's shops and pubs nearby, Yellowland Farm is a lovely place for a relaxing holiday.
The ancient market town of Holsworthy lies nestled amid the rolling green hills of Tarka Country. There are many different landscapes within the region, from rugged cliffs and sandy beaches to rolling farmland and lush valleys.

We had a fabulous relaxing holiday (5 adults and a 9 year old) We all loved the private pool, our daughter even learned how to swim, the jacuzzi was a plus and the changing room was just right. The games room was great, the snooker room was the winner for my husband. The playroom was a little young for a nine year old, I'd say it was for children 6 years and younger but the outdoor play area was perfect with a couple of chickens in a pen that you could collect eggs from in the morning (I would have liked to see them with more space though) If you don't like cats then this isn't the place for you as there are lots of them around the farm and it is hard to keep them out, doors do need to stay closed, however we love them and our daughter had a great time naming and keeping count of them. The owners are lovely and were there if we needed them. What more can I say? If you love the countryside as we do and want a relaxing holiday then you will love this delightful farmhouse which has easy access to the seaside, restaurants and shops.

The swimming pool, the hot tub, the games barn were a very big hit. The house is a good size and we would happily come back. The only qualms we had is that we felt the fridge was a bit small for 10 guests. But apart from that all good.

5 - 68 really enjoyed our stay at Yellowland farm. Lovely comfortable farm house with fantastic facilities for all ages! The swimming pool was loved by everyone as it was so warm, Hilary and Paul the owners are so welcoming and friendly, we would definitely recommend this property and wouldnât hesitate to stay there again.
