A master bedroom is on the lower ground floor with ensuite facilities and French windows to rear courtyard overlooking the estuary, a great place to watch the boats and wildlife. The quay is a short stroll away with a selection of shops cafes and pubs and the historic Elizabethan port of Bideford or the large surfing beach resort of Westward Ho! are only five minutes by car.

Value for money. Booked very early (12?months prior) due to ongoing covid situation. And paid £600+ more than the week after our stay (still high season) was available for in the weeks leading up to our stay and and £400+ more than high season is priced at for 2023. So actually feel that my keenness to get a holiday sorted early cost me a fair bit more than it could have.

The window in the upstairs front bedroom has a broken catch and cannot be closed properly so it is draughty and noisy from the street noise.

Excellent location, very clean and well equipped, good information pack a great place for lovely holiday. Appledore is a delightful village. 4 very good places to eat out in the evenings all within a short stroll. What better place to enjoy a relaxing break
