Spacious, clean, lots of natural light and warm. Lovely views out of the window. Off the beaten track a bit so very quiet. Beds comfy, didn’t sleep too well mainly due to torrential rain and wind pelting the cottage but then that would have been the same at home. Managed to see so much in a short space of time - Lyford Gorge, St. Michael’s Church on Brentor, Foggintor Quarry, Great Mis Tor, all within 15/20 min drive.

The rural location of the property is perfect for walking on the Moors and exploring with our children. We had a very warm welcome from the property owners and we have really enjoyed another family holiday.

The owners are friendly but not intrusive. and on hand should you need them. An enjoyable stay despite the rain most of the time
