Situated in the traditional Dorset seaside village of Charmouth, this gated holiday complex offers a selection of well thought out, purpose built accommodation within these converted former farm buildings. With onsite leisure facilities for all ages, the property is also conveniently located just a short stroll from the village amenities and Charmouth beach. Also nearby is the wonderful town of Lyme Regis, with its fossil rich beach and historic Cobb, a beautiful unspoilt seafront with sheltered south facing beaches and traditional deckchairs that line the promenade in the summer. The Jurassic coastline has been designated as England's first Natural World Heritage Site and spans nearly one hundred miles of the Dorset and East Devon coastline. There are many attractions in the area including the charming resorts of Beer, Branscombe, Crealy Adventure Park and numerous National Trust properties and gardens to name but a few. On entering the property you will find yourself in the cosy and bright open plan lounge/diner. With a TV/DVD, the lounge is snug and ideal for relaxing in at the end of the day. The light and airy dining area is ideally placed and there are French doors opening out to the patio. Moving into the well equipped kitchen, you will find an integrated oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Exploring further you will find a twin bedroom on the ground floor, which has zip and link beds and can be made up into a super king size upon prior request. There is also a ground floor wet room with WC. Going upstairs you will find three further bedrooms. There is a king size room with a TV and en suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Please note this room does have a low sloping ceiling. There are also two comfy twin rooms. Also on the first floor is a bathroom, complete with shower over the bath and WC. Heading outside, you can relax in the private patio area with garden furniture, ideal for enjoying meals and drinks outdoors. Guests are invited to enjoy the neighbouring holiday park which includes a shared, covered outdoor heated swimming pool (available during specific dates only and not available all year, please refer to the 'need to know' section for details), Char Valley coffee shop which serves teas, coffees, milk shakes, ice creams and biscuits, and a shared outdoor children's play area. For a reduced charge and available to adults, is the well equipped Char Valley Health Club, including a gym, indoor pool, sauna and steam room. Need to know: 4 bedrooms on the first floor, 1 king size with en suite and 2 twins; on the ground floor, 1 twin with zip and link beds which can be made up into a super king size upon request at time of booking. 1 en suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC; 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC on the first floor; 1 wet room with WC on the ground floor. Kitchen electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer. TV and DVD in the lounge, TV in the king size bedroom. Club Wi Fi available for an additional charge payable onsite, charges are for up to 5 devices charge for 24 hours is 5.00, for 48 hours is 10, for 1 week is 20.00, for 1 month is 30 (please note Wi Fi speeds may vary, therefore this connection may be unsuitable for streaming movies and games etc. Swimming pool use of the covered outdoor heated swimming pool is included for guests and is open for the following dates in 2024: 30th March 6th April, 4th 6th May, 25th May 30th August, 26th October 1st November, 2025: 12th 21st April, 3rd 5th May, 24th May 31st August, 25th 31st October. The pool is open 7 days a week in the main school summer holidays between 10am 5pm and closed for lunch. Details of the pool opening times outside of the summer school holiday period are available on request, please call for more information.. Please bring your own towels for the beach. Health Club (available to over 18 s at an additional charge) and coffee shop opening times are: 9am 5pm Monday Friday (closed for lunch), 9am 1pm Sat and Sun.. Short breaks only available during off peak weeks. Complex of 16 properties. Ample parking on site. Beach, shops and pubs all within walking distance. Guests can arrive between 4pm 8pm. EV cars cannot be charged from the property under any circumstances, the nearest EV charging point can be found in nearby Lyme Regis, West Bay and Bridport. Please note mattress for the cot is not provided. Please note stairgates are not provided.
