Guests have praised the property for its stunning sea views, spaciousness, and prime location near shops and the beach. The balcony is a highlight, offering a serene spot to enjoy the scenery. While the property is generally appreciated for its cleanliness and comfort, some guests noted areas for improvement, including maintenance and the provision of basic amenities.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is generally found to be clean, with clean bed linen and a tidy appearance. However, some guests reported issues such as dirty windows upon arrival, uncleaned microwaves, and the presence of moths, which suggests room for improvement in this area.

The location is highly regarded, with guests enjoying the proximity to the town, beach, and local amenities. The views of the Jurassic Coast are frequently mentioned as a significant advantage. However, the hill climb to access the property may be challenging for some.

The property is described as comfortable, with several reviews mentioning comfortable beds and a spacious layout. Nonetheless, some guests found the sofas and seating to be tired and uncomfortable, suggesting that these could be updated for enhanced comfort.

The apartment is equipped with essential appliances, but guests have pointed out issues with kitchen equipment, plumbing smells, and a lack of basic provisions. Maintenance concerns, such as the need for a better TV signal and more reliable internet, have also been raised.

While some guests would have appreciated a basic welcome pack upon arrival, there is no consistent mention of gifts or additional thoughtful touches provided by the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to accurately score this category.

The microwave had not been cleaned, there were bits of food inside. There were dirty footprints in the shower and the carpets did not appear to have been vacuumed. The small towel that was left in the bathroom was dirty, and there were no refuse bags in the apartment to put any rubbish. Worst of all, the flat had a very large number of carpet/clothes moths emerging from the carpets in every room, which caused us to have to keep all our clothes in our cases at all times, to stop cross infestation of our own homes on our return. This spoilt the relaxation aspect of our holiday, as we were constantly having to be aware of where we were putting and storing our clothes. I am now in the process of washing and sterilising all of my clothes, both worn and unworn, to stop any infestation, along with all of my bags and suitcase. Also, the sofa was very uncomfortable to sit on . We had to sit on cushions because it was so hard. The handle on the patio door in the bedroom was so close to the frame that I caught my fingers in it several times when closing it. It also appeared that the bathroom extractor fan did not remove any condensation, and it looked as though the slats were closed on it. This left the bathroom very damp and humid.

It is well equipped, very clean and quiet and at the top of the high street, an easy walk to the sea and to restaurants.

Clean, comfortable with plenty of space - my only tiny gripe was a complete lack of welcome pack....it would have been nice to have some tea, coffee and milk available on arrival. But that is a very minor thing compared with the overall great experience - i would definitely book again.
