Guests say

Emmies Cottage in Weymouth, Dorset, is highly praised for its comfort, cleanliness, and prime location for exploring the countryside and coast. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, underfloor heating, and pet-friendly environment. The historical charm and modern amenities, including a smart TV and Wi-Fi, contribute to a homely and spacious stay. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is fondly remembered, and the property is recommended for family holidays.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as extremely clean, which indicates a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

The location is celebrated for its quiet setting, proximity to local attractions, and ease of access to both Weymouth and Dorchester, making it ideal for exploring Dorset.

The comfort of the cottage is frequently highlighted, with guests finding the beds and seating very comfortable and the presence of underfloor heating adding to the cosy atmosphere.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the kitchen appliances and utility room. However, some guests mention the need for maintenance on shower controls and sealant, which slightly lowers the score.

While guests appreciate the guest information folder and the provision of tea and coffee sachets, there is no consistent mention of welcome gifts, and thus it cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, a score cannot be provided for thoughtfulness based on the available reviews.

This stinks and is a health hazard! Also TV only has apps so you can obly watch live bbc channels. I left messages for the owner on both contact numbers as wanted to know if this was correct or the aerial lead was faulty and absolutely no response. Also a rotten dog bone (large) in a bag in the garage with maggots made this room not accessible. The cleaner needs sacking as every surface was thick with dust! Rug in living room is shedding fibres and looks like has never been hoovered. Cobwebs in all corners of every room. Buy a feather duster with all of that money you make on lettings!!!

    Really enjoyed our break.

A nice big kitchen table, and nice comfortable lounge with large tv. The upstairs shower door, sealant, and controller need maintenance (only ranges between pretty hot to very hot). The downstairs shower was very nice but needs fresh sealant too. The kitchen was nice to cook in with good sized fridge freezer. The aga was nice to use but the two ring hob was lacking in power and we couldn't get the outer ring on at all.
