This wonderful cottage is ideally suited to families looking for a unique rural retreat in pretty Ruscombe, overlooking the idyllic rolling hills of the Cotswolds. Ruscombe is in one of the five valleys that surrounds Stroud and is a wonderful area for walks and enjoying nature. Head out along part of the Cotswold Way walking trail or enjoy one of the local trails into the hills, taking in the views of traditional Cotswold cottages. Enjoy a trip into Stroud (2 miles), which has an abundance of independent shops, pubs and cafes for you to enjoy. For the children, try the Museum in the Park at nearby Stratford Park (1.5 miles), with a range of interactive activities and displays that showcase the local area. Cattle Country Farm Park is 12 miles away, an outdoor adventure park where kids can enjoy tractor rides, go karts, a maze and some wonderful animal experiences. After winding through the beautiful valley and into the village of Ruscombe, make your way up the drive and to the beautiful cottage which occupies a stunning elevated position. Head into the property and into the main hallway, kicking off coats and boots after enjoying a walk through the hills. The first living area off the hall is the charming lounge, with comfortable sofas, large Smart TV and wonderful log burner, all making it an ideal room to relax together with a drink or enjoy a movie. Continue through into the dining room, with ample space for the whole family to enjoy a meal together. The lovely farmhouse style kitchen has everything you need for a self catered break away and there is a separate seating area that has been set up for the kids to enjoy some arts and crafts and a Smart TV to keep them occupied whilst you are cooking. The kitchen leads through into the conservatory which has another seating area, a perfect spot for a morning coffee and a good book, whilst enjoying the views down to the valley. The bedrooms and bathrooms are split across two further floors via the staircase leading up from the main hallway. On the first floor there are three bedrooms, one twin room and two singles. In the twin there is a handmade children s cabin style bed along with a further single. Also on this floor is the large family bathroom with bath and shower. This house is available to families and groups of friends, but please do note the home is used by the owners and the decoration across this floor is tailored towards children. Up on the third floor are the two double rooms, with the master enjoying a shower room.
