The Gardens cottage in Somerset receives high praise for its cleanliness, peaceful location, and comfort. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, the beautiful garden, and the attentive hosts who provide a warm welcome. The property is ideal for exploring Somerset and offers a relaxing retreat with thoughtful touches, such as fresh eggs from the hosts' hens.
Guests consistently mention the immaculate condition of the cottage, highlighting its cleanliness and well-maintained state. One review noted an issue with mould in the shower, but this seems to be an isolated incident.
The property is praised for its peaceful rural setting, ideal for relaxation and local walks. Some guests found the access roads narrow and bendy, but this is typical for countryside locations.
The majority of guests found the cottage to be comfortable, with special mentions of the comfortable beds and the warm, cosy atmosphere provided by the log burner. However, one review mentioned the house being on the colder side.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with guests appreciating the well-equipped kitchen, spacious rooms, and additional amenities like the jacuzzi bath and log burner. Some suggestions for improvement include adding shelves in the bathrooms and providing mirrors near power points.
While guests mention thoughtful gestures such as fresh eggs and a warm welcome, there are not enough references to consistent gifts or special touches to accurately score this category. Therefore, it is important to note that while such kindness is appreciated, it may not be guaranteed for all stays.
