This beautiful barn has been restored to a high standard with a mix of contemporary and old finishes to provide luxury accommodation for your stay including a wood burning stove and en-suite bathrooms for each of the bedrooms, along with an open-plan living space.

Black Swan Barn sits in a peaceful, rural location just outside the village of Thornham Magna and provides a luxury base for you to explore the area. The barn is a contemporary build far removed from your average barn conversion. It doesn't have blinds at every window as the vast majority of the property isn't overlooked and so benefits from natural light and views over the garden. Some of the walls appear unfinished but it's a trick of the light between absolute white and 'setting plaster' by Farrow & Ball which complement the natural colours of the bleached oak flooring. There are walls of polished concrete too which further enhance the contemporary feel. Old and modern sit side by side in harmony. The accommodation is all on the ground floor and the living space is open-plan with vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows, giving lots of natural light to the space. Besides the main sitting area with wood burning stove, there is also a further area with comfy seating; a large dining space and a well-equipped kitchen. Each of the three bedrooms have their own en-suite with large walk-in rainfall showers.

Outside, enjoy the garden and surrounding fields to explore. Keep an eye out for the local wildlife including deer and birds, and the sound of the owl's hoot.

For larger groups, Grove Farm House next door accommodates up to 10 guests and one dog. Subject to availability, both properties can be booked together as Grove Farm House & Black Swan Barn, sleeping up to 16 guests.
