About this property

A fantastic seaside apartment settled into the coastline of Aldeburgh, Suffolk, with stunning coastal views and easy access to local amenities, Sea Tower is the perfect base for your seaside adventure. Ground floor and with on-road parking, unpack into this coastal townhouse apartment, resting amongst a row of historical properties in a rainbow of colours. Put your feet up in the sitting room and enjoy the view as you recline in a stylish selection of sofas with a backdrop of blue walls, and there is a welcoming woodburning stove for the colder months. With contemporary décor, the kitchen/diner creates a fantastic spot for cooking together, and in the evenings why not enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony? As the day draws to a close, enjoy a refreshing bath before settling down for the night in one of the three bedrooms, including two king-size, one with a handy en-suite, and a twin, each with storage for your belongings. Aldeburgh is a stunning seaside town with a lot to offer guests, beginning with the fantastic pebble beach just a short walk from the property, where walks in the salty air can be enjoyed, or you can take to the waves in a kayak or even dare to wild swim! Within the town there are many independent shops to explore before enjoying home made cuisine in one of the many eateries, or simply taking in the view with an ice cream or fish and chips on the beach. Aldeburgh has access to two great walks at the Haven Nature Reserve and Snape Path, however if you travel a little further from the town you will find many more attractions including the rural village of Orford with its wonderful castle. Make a holiday to remember with a stay at Sea Tower.

The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!

Really impressed that the glazing in the door to the ensuite is now opaque. Only one minor issue - that the basin plug in the ensuite doesn't stay locked down. Other than that, everything was perfect. We really like the original artwork too.

Amazing location, lovely property, great facilities and amenities (dishwasher, plenty of cutlery and crockery etc). Issues to potentially fix: The single bed mattresses and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, and coupled with the boiler in the room, those of us staying in that room had very poor sleep quality. Boiler noise may be inevitable, but the mattresses and pillows could definitely do with replacing. One of the bedrooms was quite dusty, and had gym shorts in the wardrobe from a previous tenant. So cleaning could be improved. The bathroom door to the ensuite is see-through, which is a very odd choice! Perhaps this could be filmed over, or completely replaced. The intercom to get into the flat didn't work so we had to call each other whenever someone was at the door, and go downstairs to open the door. The stairwell smelled unfresh/of stale cooking and could do with airing and perhaps an airfreshener.

We walked into a cosy room on a windy afternoon so really appreciative Thankyou for putting the heating on. For having the fridge on. For leaving ice in a bag in the freezer for the first g&t. For the tea towels and washing tabs. Those things you might forget. So so good. Heating easy to control. My mother has limited mobility so sitting in a warm room and looking your over the sea is excellent. Honestly a great property. So quiet. Not sure if you would hear those upstairs or downstairs if they were in? Your photos were realistic and perhaps fo not do it justice. Really small points just for owners. The twin room door doesn’t stay shut which would be good to prevent food smells. Maybe a small chest of drawers in wardrobe in 2nd double room. And a set of tea cups and saucers. Just mentioning it. But I LOVED the property and we had a great stay
