A charming, stone-built cottage set just off the village green and riverside in Linton, arguably one of the prettiest villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This semi-detached cottage provides comfortable accommodation in the very heart of Wharfedale, just a short drive from the delightful village of Grassington.and popular market town of Skipton. On the ground floor there is a farmhouse style kitchen with original range.and steps leading down to a cosy sitting room with lovely open fire. There is also a spacious multi-purpose garden room providing additional dining, sleeping and seating overlooking the rear garden. An adjoining cloakroom and generous hallway complete the ground floor accommodation. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom and a spacious twin bedroom with pleasant views out across the village and the nearby fells. The main bathroom is a little retro in style but provides a separate bath, ideal for a good relaxing soak and a walk-in shower cubicle. The rear garden provides a lovely space for alfresco dining or simply relaxing with a nice bottle of your favourite tipple. Yorkshire Dales charm and character prevail throughout the cottage and the nearby pub is a real delight, serving fabulous real ales, a good selection of wine and has a very good local reputation for the quality of its food. Centrally located in this beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, there are abundant walks from the doorstep, while nearby is popular Grassington, with its wide range of shops, pubs and art galleries, annual Grassington Festival in the summer and annual Dickensian Festival, which delights visitors with its traditional Christmas market and entertainment. Linton is a picturesque village within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The stone houses clustered around the central green date from the 17th and 18th Century. Close to Linton Falls on the River Wharfe, is a superb walking area, with many paths to other villages, and easy access to the limestone fells. The market town of Skipton and its medieval castle is a short drive away, and many other historic places including Bronte Country, Castle Howard, the elegant spa town of Harrogate, racing at Ripon and the majestic medieval city of York within easy motoring distance.
