Take a few steps up into the sitting room, brightened by the incredible skylight, which lights up at night and is beautiful to sit and admire from the spacious corner sofa, enjoying a movie night on the Smart TV, or simply relaxing with a good book. For a day beside the sea, drive to the Victorian seaside resort of Scarborough, which offers two wonderful stretches of sandy beach, North Bay and South Bay, popular with families who want to build sandcastles and go for a refreshing dip. Stroll through the magnificent Japanese-inspired Peasholm Park, head to Alpamare UK for an adrenaline-filled day at a waterpark, catch a show at Stephen Joseph Theatre, and catch a live music event as Scarborough Open Air Theatre. Walkers will delight in a coastal stroll along the Cleveland Way, while cyclists can take the disused former railway track up to Whitby.
