Well-appointed and spacious, this charming Snainton holiday cottage offers very welcoming accommodation, with a beamed, farmhouse kitchen, restful living room, bright, sunny bedrooms and a relaxing hot tub (extra charges apply). Outside, this Snainton cottage has a large, delightful garden, a lovely place for relaxing on a summer's evening. The village of Snainton offers a country inn, whilst the nearby market town of Pickering has a good range of shops and tea rooms, an historic castle, trout fishing and the famous North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway. The bustling seaside resort of Scarborough is only a few minutes' drive from this Snainton cottage, and has safe, sandy beaches, theatres, restaurants, golf courses and parks, while the Flamingo Park Zoo is only a little further away and provides a fun day out for all the family. Whether it's stunning countryside or coastal towns you're looking for, this Woodlands Cottage provides easy access for both.

Snainton, a charming little village at the foot of the North York Moors, is a great base for exploring the popular coastal resorts of Scarborough, Whitby, and Filey. Snainton has two pubs that serve meals, a fantastic riding centre that caters to riders of all ages and skills, and a fantastic children's playground. A driving range with a par 3, 9-hole golf course is nearby, as are numerous walks, cycle trips, and country drives. Visit Scampston Walled Garden, which has a renowned restaurant, or Wykeham, 4 miles away, for a day of fishing, or Dalby Forest, which has excellent walking, mountain biking, and "Go Ape" walks for the more daring! Pickering, with its famed steam railway, castle, and Beck Isle Museum, and York, with its mediaeval city, are both easily accessible.

    The house has lots of space, comfort bed with spotless bedding, the garden is safe for dogs (the owners dogs on site) and everything you need in the kitchen.
