Great to be on the seafront and portobello is a nice up and coming area. The approach at the back of the house does not look promising (run down housing etc) and there were seemingly every 15 year old in Edinburgh there on the day we arrived, along with a lot of police, which was unnerving. After that it was lovely and quiet though so our nerves settled! House is good though little things (doors not shutting, bathroom lock not working, only one set of keys and key safe not working) meant that it felt like we paid a bit of a premium price for what wasn’t quite a premium house.
