In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the northern tip of Anglesey, Llanfechell is a tiny community that is 1.5 miles from Cemaes Bay. The nearby 12th-century Mechell Church, which has been expanded over the years and is said to be the location of St. Mechell's burial, is where the village derives its name. The area is well-liked by geologists and archaeologists because of the rock formations at Mechell Mountain and the numerous ancient monuments dispersed about, some of which are said to be among the oldest in the world. The ancient Parys Mountain copper mines, with their lunar-like scenery, are seven miles away.

    Plenty of everything and lovely welcome gifts and note plus a very handy book full of detailed instructions and tips Position was perfect too Family of six adults plenty of room for us all If I had 1 improvement to suggest it would be for more outdoor lighting for the hot tub area as it was a winter break we really struggled to see the decking steps which were wet and slippy- other than that perfect! Would book again and would highly recommend!

    We have already said we’ll be back again soon. Everything is done to the highest speck. Luxury carpets, curtains, a high end kitchen and appliances. Beautifully decorated. Excellent correspondence when we had a few questions. Not criticisms just a few things that would make it even better. There are no shaver points anywhere -can’t charge electric toothbrushes or shavers. Also, a wooden spoon for cooking in the kitchen would be useful as there’s nothing to cook with -only large serving spoons. Some storage in the bathrooms would also be great as the only place to put things was on the window ledge in the en-suite and on the sink ledge in the main bathroom. A chest of drawers in the main bedroom would also be useful as there were only two drawers -one either side in the bedside cabinets.
