About this property

Coed Bolyn Lodge is a light and airy holiday cottage in a tranquil and picturesque countryside setting. It has panoramic views across Snowdonia that takes in both mountains and the sea. Inside is welcoming and calming, and sitting outside the cottage with a cuppa whilst soaking up those views will mean you’ll easily recharge your batteries here.

The open plan living space makes for a super sociable holiday cottage! The kitchen is modern and well equipped with all you need for knocking up family meals. There’s a breakfast bar, electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and toaster. There is also a dining table and chairs for six people.

The seating area consists of a large corner sofa and armchair with a TV, a Blu-ray player, and books and games for your enjoyment. From here French windows open out onto the pretty garden.

Coed Bolyn Lodge has three bedrooms in total. One large double room, another double with a TV and a twin room.

There are two bathrooms, both of which are modern and fully tiled. One has a bath with shower over, loo and wash hand basin. The other has a shower, loo and wash hand basin.

Outside there’s a driveway that leads to a large stone-walled, private garden that’s laid to lawn and well maintained. There is outdoor seating provided so you can sit out in the sunshine and enjoy the incredible views. There is also parking for four cars directly outside the property.

Snowdonia and North Wales generally has so much to offer both those looking for peaceful relaxation and an action-packed break. Golf courses, cycle routes, fishing, attractions, walks and beaches are all within easy driving distance of this happy holiday cottage. Being just ten minutes from the A55, it is easy to get to from the North West. You’re also close to Caernarfon, Bangor, Llanberis, as well as Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula. The whole of North Wales will easily be your playground from Coed Bolyn Lodge!

Llanrug is a small village with two pubs, two shops, a Post Office, a hotel with indoor swimming pool and fitness room, and a 9 hole golf course is nearby. The village is situated in the foothills of the Snowdonia Mountain Range, only 3 miles from famous Llanberis. Dominated by the grandeur of the Snowdon Massif, Llanberis is flanked by two lakes, Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris, and is one of the most popular mountain tourist centres in the Snowdonia National Park. Llanberis is something of a 'mecca' for walkers and climbers, being the starting point for the ascent of Snowdon - the highest mountain in Wales. The ascent can be made either by train, on the Snowdonia Mountain Railway, or on foot along one of the many routes to the summit. Llanberis boasts excellent places to eat and drink and a great choice of shopping. Just 4 miles from Llanrug, on the coast, is Caernarfon with its magnificent 13th century castle and town walls and close by are National Trust properties at Penrhyn and Plas Newydd and many wonderful beaches.

We also had very good communication with the owners . We were a group of friends with different likes and Coed Bolyn suited us all. Most places we wanted to visit were within easy access of the cottage. It was a perfect place to stay .

The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Very easy to find and a fantastic location for visiting all the wonderful attractions in the area. The views surrounding the cottage are amazing along with the beautiful sunsets. It was so peaceful and quiet and was lovely to sit out in the garden and relax. It was great to stay somewhere that provides decent sized towels, we've stayed at many places that say towels provided and they are the smallest towels that would only cover a child, but thankfully we didn't have that issue here. The communication from the owners was great. A wonderful holiday and can't wait to come back.
