Bay Retreat is a fab family holiday house located close to shops and restaurants in Trearddur Bay on Anglesey. On the west coast of Anglesey there are Blue Flag beaches and coves, walks, attractions and good places to eat. Bay Retreat offers a brilliant base for bringing the family after a busy day as the open plan living space offers a sociable atmosphere.
There are three bedrooms on the ground floor - a king size room with direct access to the outside terrace. A double room then another with a zip and link bed giving you the option of twin or a super king size beds.
The bright and airy open plan living space is on the first floor. It has gorgeously high ceilings and a south facing balcony with views over the bay. The seating area has comfortable sofas, a Smart TV including access to BT Sport and a wood burning stove for the colder evenings.
The dining area has a large table with ample seating for the whole family. The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster.
There is a washing machine and additional fridge in the garage with the tumble dryer in a separate utility area.
The main bathroom has a bath with shower over, loo and hand basin. The separate shower room has a loo, hand basin and electric towel radiator.
Outside is a paved terrace on the ground floor which you can access via the garage and the master bedroom. This is a great spot for your morning brunch or evening glass of wine. There is also off street parking for three cars.
Trearddur Bay offers so much to a family on holiday on Anglesey! Watersports, walking, bird-watching,or golf are all possible close by. There are brilliant places to eat and drink right on your doorstep, too. A truly great holiday cottage if you’re looking for a family getaway on Anglesey.

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse rspb Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!
