Guests say

St Aelrhiw's Church is a unique and impressive holiday cottage praised for its peacefulness, distinctive character, and stunning location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped, comfortable interiors and the blend of historic charm with modern conveniences. The views are described as beautiful, and the property provides a memorable experience, especially after exploring the surrounding countryside.

The property is generally regarded as extremely clean. However, a minor issue with dead flies and an odd smell in one of the bathrooms suggests room for improvement.

The location is highly praised for its beauty and tranquillity, offering stunning views and proximity to Aberdaron and the Coastal path. The remote setting is appreciated, although the presence of adders in the area is a concern that guests feel should be communicated.

Guests find the property comfortable and well-equipped, providing a cosy atmosphere after a day's hike. The sleeping and eating areas are particularly commended for their comfort.

The facilities are excellent, with a modern internal conversion and retention of old features. Some minor comments regarding maintenance, such as uncut grass and a desire for more privacy in certain areas, slightly detract from the overall experience.

There is insufficient information to assess thoughtfulness as there are no mentions of gifts or special touches provided by the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

Great location lovely conversation really nice space to be in

  • Mrs Oliver

A special, historic building with a beautiful, modern internal conversion. High on a hillside, the views along the countryside to Y Rhiw and down over Hell's Mouth bay, are stunning. Being out on the Llyn peninsula, the sea is in charge of the weather, which makes it either glorious or atmospheric. We loved the comfort of the sleeping and eating areas, and the retention of old features alongside the modern conveniences. A lovely place to stay.

  • Mr Grahame Austin

The place was well equipped and comfortable. Quite stunning. Only downside, really no outside to sit and relax.
