Llyn Cabin is all about relaxation, rejuvenation and unwinding while enjoying the simple pleasures in life.

The Llyn Peninsula is known as ‘Snowdon’s arm’. It is perfect for those that enjoy an outdoor holiday with walking, cycling and watersports on the agenda. Abersoch is a delightful seaside resort with sailing and watersports, a bistro dining scene, fabulous beaches, a lovely sheltered harbour and a good range of shops. Abersoch and the Llyn peninsula have long attracted pilgrims, travellers and visitors wanting a taste of a calm, peaceful life. Close to the end of the peninsula, Llyn Cabin’s guests enjoy stunning beaches, dramatic sea cliffs, pretty coastal hamlets, picturesque harbours, seaside resorts, golf, horse riding, cycling, watersports and hiking the amazing Wales Coast Path. It is only ten minutes’ walk to the beach from this wonderful spot.

Whilst designed for the simple life, Llyn Cabin oozes style, elegance and calm and has definitely been designed to make the most of the fantastic landscapes and seascapes surrounding it. It comes with a very special deck where you can take a dip in the hot tub, enjoying a glass of fizz while captivated by the magic in front of you. There is a table and chairs for alfresco dining and sharing a glass of wine at sunset as well as a barbecue. After a day visiting charming seaside villages, climbing mountains or enjoying a lazy day on the beach, there is nothing better than sitting in the hot tub with your family or best friends and letting time and all the stresses and strains of everyday life melt away.

Llyn Cabin’s open plan living space is beautiful with delightful ceiling beams and a mellow natural colour palette with lovely colour splashes coming from the curtains, blinds and scatter cushions, elegant simplicity at its best. The modern kitchen sits in the corner of the room with all the appliances that you would wish for a self-catering break. The modern dining table and chairs sits next to this with wonderful views through the large window. As well as enjoying the views from the sofas, there is a television for your entertainment. You can open the double doors to let the breeze waft into this modern cabin.

The cabin comes with two pretty bedrooms, both very similar in decor, both calm peaceful nests and both offering wonderful views. One bedroom enjoys a beautifully dressed double bed and the other is the family room sleeping three guests. The immaculate bathroom is generous in size with a bath and overhead shower, beautiful tiling and fluffy towels.

Llyn Cabin enjoys a wonderful position on the hillside, a ten minute stroll from the beach and close to the picturesque Abersoch. The sea views from every space and the deck are absolutely wonderful. The Llyn Peninsula is wondrous, enjoying a rich culture and heritage, gorgeous harbours, stunning beaches and dramatic sea cliffs. It is a protected Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where you can enjoy walking the Wales Coast Path.

Abersoch is a fabulous seaside resort with a wonderful dining scene, unique shops and two beaches. The main beach offers wonderful watersports and excellent views towards St Tudwal’s Islands. The beach is flanked by some of the most expensive beach huts in Wales. They make for a lovely Instagram photograph. The harbour beach is great for crabbing and watching the boats. One of the biggest attractions of this area is the ‘micro-climate’ which is attributed to Abersoch’s location on the Llyn, surrounded by the sea on three sides. Abersoch has a number of good restaurants, a few pubs which have children’s play areas and some up-market boutiques and souvenir shops.

To the west of Abersoch, at Y Rhiw, you will find Plas yn Rhiw, a 17th century Welsh manor house set in beautiful ornamental gardens with outstanding views of the bay. It is owned and run by the National Trust. As the road climbs, you will pass Porth Neigwl, otherwise known as Hell’s Mouth Beach which is highly rated as the best for surfing in North Wales.

Llanbedrog enjoys a photogenic line of colourful beach huts and a superb beach. Oriel Plas Glyn-y-Weddw is a wonderful arts centre and gallery. Porthdinllaen is a stunning coastal hamlet brimming with quaint houses above a stunning half moon of golden sand, another great photo opportunity. The village and beach are owned by the National Trust and access is by foot only. There is a lovely characterful waterfront pub perfect for a lunch stop. Beside Porthdinllaen you will find Nefyn with its maritime museum, pretty harbour and a sweeping crescent of sand. Its headland golf course is extremely scenic.

Bardsey Island is also known as the ‘Isle of 20000 Saints’. It is one of Wales’ natural wonders and was declared a National Nature Reserve in 1986 for its amazing bird life. Legend has it that this remote island is home to 20,000 saints who are buried on the island. The stretch of water separating it from the mainland is known in Welsh as Ynys Enlli due to an abundance of rip tides and whirl pools which can make the crossing interesting. The island’s wildlife includes many migrant species pulling over for a pit stop or to breed and nest. They include chiffchaffs, goldcrests, wheatears, sedge, willow warblers, whitethroats and spotted flycatchers. Resident species include ravens, little owls, oystercatchers, chough, razorbills, guillemots, fulmars and kittiwakes.

Llithfaen is a quaint inland village set in a fascinating landscape and definitely worth a stop. On Yr Eifl mountains you will find Tre’r Ceiri, an astonishingly well-preserved prehistoric village which was occupied until about 2000 years ago. Nearby is the Welsh Language and Heritage Centre, Nant Gwrtheyrn.
