The Quarry is a secluded, detached house on three levels, set in a wooded garden, with adjacent orchard and paddock, surrounded by beautiful open countryside 1.5 miles north of the village of Bettws Cedewain. This is a peaceful, rural location for lovers of the great outdoors, yet within easy reach of Newtown, 6 miles, or Welshpool, 9.5 miles.
This 'green', Eco-friendly house is centrally heated via pellet stove in the living room. WiFi available and phone for emergency and incoming calls.

Living Room: with wooden flooring, French doors to the garden, comfortable seating, Freeview TV, DVD player, dining table and six chairs, pellet stove.
Kitchen: spacious farmhouse-style kitchen with fitted units, built-in cupboards and pine furniture; electric range cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, chest freezer; pine farmhouse table and six chairs; door to rear.
Cloakroom: WC and basin.

Outside: decking and lawned garden to the front, uncovered pond to the rear, mature trees and shrubs, extensive grounds, orchard and paddock, with mown path and camping circle in the long grass. An ideal place for youngsters to explore the great outdoors, but due to the uncovered pond and nature of the grounds, young children should be supervised at all times when outdoors.
Parking: plenty of parking/turning space to the front of the house
The village of Bettws Cedewain, 1.5 miles, has a pub serving good meals and a village shop; Berriew, 4.5 miles, also has good pubs, small shop/PO and butcher. Leisure centres, golf courses and mainline stations at Newtown and Welshpool; also at Welshpool is the Steam Railway; Montgomery Castle, with its stunning views, and Powis Castle (NT) nearby. Excellent walking in the area, including the Severn Way, Kerry Ridgeway and Offa's Dyke path.
