This is a great area for walking as the Glyndwr's Way National Trail and Offa's Dyke are nearby along with the Radnorshire and Shropshire Hills. Llanbadarn Fynydd nestles in the Powys countryside between Newtown and Llandrindod Wells. Llanbadarn Fynydd offers a shop and a pub, plus the Glyndwr’s Way National Trail passes through, as does the River Ithon. Surrounded by countryside, the area is perfect for walking, cycling and birdwatching with the Radnorshire Hills and Forest and the Offa’s Dyke pathway within reach. Abbeycwmhir is close by and is home to the Cistercian Abbey and the Happy Union Inn.
