Montgomery itself is only 5 miles away and has a fascinating castle, as well as great pubs and various fairs throughout the year. These include a beer and folk festival, a July street fair and Christmas markets. Finally, head 6 miles to Kerry Vale Vineyard for a wine tasting, and make sure to pick up a few extra bottles so you can keep enjoying them when you’re back at home.
