Llanberis, one of the most well-known mountain tourist destinations in the Snowdonia National Park, is dominated by the magnificence of the Snowdon Massif and is flanked by two lakes, Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris. Due to its location as the starting point for the ascent of Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales, Llanberis is actually somewhat of a hotspot for walkers and climbers.
