This traditional Welsh village stands directly on the edge of the southern part of the Snowdonia National Park. Situated on the banks of the River Dulas and overlooking the wooded slopes of the Dovey Forest, this old slate quarrying village is perfect for mountain biking enthusiasts. The village also offers the historic Corris narrow gauge railway, an excellent craft centre, the Corris slate mining Explore's centre and the exciting King Arthur's Labyrinth Underground Experience, along with interesting local walks that abound. Discover The Tarrens, probably the best ridge walk in Wales as well as the wonderful mountains of Cader Idris and Aran Fawddwy which are both close by.
