Be greeted by a front decked area with table and chairs, a perfect spot to enjoy alfresco dining by the fire pit or relaxing in the wood-fired hot tub, complimented by the sounds of the flowing stream. Step into the open-plan living space, where you will find a well-equipped kitchen, dining table for two, and a sitting area with plush sofa and a Smart TV. Situated between the sea and the towering Cader Idris mountain range in southern Eryri (Snowdonia) is the picturesque market town of Llanberis. It's a great place to stay if you want to explore Eryri (Snowdonia) and then relax on the beach in Barmouth, Fairbourne, or Aberdovey. The town itself has a wide variety of stores, bars (including five pubs and a wine bar), eateries (including several highly regarded restaurants and cafes), and bakeries (two of which provide daily fresh loaves and pastries). Dolgellau is a designated 'cycle break centre' with a variety of dedicated bike routes all throughout the area, and it is also home to over 200 listed structures, reportedly the biggest number in all of Wales. The Coed y Brenin mountain bike route is nearby, and the surrounding area is perfect for anyone looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful natural setting.

We was staying a week so storage was awkward but we survived. Hob was a challenge but instructions to hand and sorted. Hot tub was amazing. We have a springer who loved the freedom of the secure garden. Will defo be back. Thank you Clare.

We were able to easily continue our coastal walking of Wales between Harlech and Aberdovey and use this as a central base. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors hot tub and the whole ambience of this idyllic hideaway.

However our main disappointment was with the hot tub. As it was stove lit we wasted 3hrs over 2 nights trying to get it started, we used up the Firestarter's provided plus having to buy our own in town to no effect. This we believe is due to the firewood provided was damp as it did not react to the firestarters at all. On top of that was the poor responses from the hosts, we contacted both numbers to no reply, one of them did text back at 10pm just to state to feed the fire more wood but did not follow up to see how we were getting on. Overall a rather lacklustre experience.
