Cavtat is also a great base for day trips. The unesco-listed Old Town of Dubrovnik is only a 30 minute drive away – close enough for regular visits, but far enough to enjoy a quieter pace. Boat trips to the Elaphite Islands or nearby beaches are offer an adventurous way to spend the day, while the region’s walking trails and viewpoints provide opportunities to explore inland.
