Casa Dimas is a stunning villa for ten overlooking forest and vineyards in the village of Režanci. Just a short drive from the charming medieval town of Svetvinčenat, Casa Dimas offers a wonderful experience with a stunning pool and terrace, and a shared on-site wellness centre, among its highlights.
The 48-square-metre pool and a gorgeous dining terrace look out over the vineyards and a large area of private forest that forms part of the property. You can walk among the trees or enjoy a variety of activities around the villa, including Pétanque, golf on the practice green, or soaking in the hot tub on the veranda. The fitness and spa house has exercise equipment if you fancy a workout.
Casa Dimas features a master bedroom with an en-suite shower room, direct terrace, and hot tub access. Four more bedrooms all have an en-suite, Ruark sound systems, and king-size beds, each of which can be divided into twin beds for extra flexibility. Air-conditioning, underfloor heating, and free Wi-Fi are among this villa’s many advantages, as is each King-size bed being separable into two twin beds.
In a particularly convenient location for discovering the rest of Istria, Casa Dimas is around a 30-minute drive from the coast, with the stunning town of Rovinj well worth seeing. Pula lies a similar distance to the south, with its historical treasures.
The medieval town of Svetvinčenat lies on Croatia’s Istrian peninsula, around 30 minutes north of Pula. Its centrality makes it a fine base for exploring the wider region. In recent years, it has become something of an attraction as more people discover its appealing architecture, cuisine and cultural offerings.
As Croatian wines grow in popularity and stature, Svetvinčenat does its bit to promote the best of the region with an annual New Wine Festival each autumn. In July, it’s cheese which takes centre stage, with the Svetvinčenat Cheese Festival hosting artisanal cheese makers from all over Croatia and neighbouring Slovenia, too.
Svetvinčenat’s main square, Placa, and castle, Morosini-Grimani, are among its highlights, earning it a reputation as one of Istria’s best-preserved medieval towns. There is also a small selection of nice eateries in Svetvinčenat, including some good pizzerias.

My business team and I stayed at the Casa Dimas and we absolutely loved it! The house is beyond beautiful, very simple, functional, clean and perfect for bigger groups or families! We loved the open space kitchen/living room area which was where we spent the majority of our time. The rooms are close to five star hotel rooms and each has a separate bathroom! We also really enjoyed the heated jacuzzi on the terrace as well as the sauna/gym area. Overall, incredible value for your money, a great host and an unforgettable experience! We will be coming back!

We are just back from a 2 week family break staying at the beautiful Casa Dimas and from the oldest (83 years) to the youngest (13 years) we had an amazing holiday. The villa is one of the most luxurious we have stayed in and the setting was spectacular, it is such a peaceful place. From the moment we arrived (with some fine wines already chilled for us) the owner looked after us so well. From organising transport and booking reservation for dinner, to helping with some medical treatment that was needed, nothing was a problem. We have never gone back to the same place preferring to try somewhere new each summer, however this is the first time we all agreed that Istria and in particular, Casa Dimas are definitely getting a second visit.
